Women’s Health Specialists provide preventive reproductive health care and answer questions about health concerns. Services include annual examinations, breast exams, pap smears, education, counseling and treatment for common and often chronic women’s health concerns, i.e., recurring bladder infections, annoying vaginal infections, menstrual period irregularities, pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease. All services are on a sliding fee scale. Most women and their partners qualify for free examinations and treatments at WHS whether you are insured or not. You can sign up on these free programs at your appointment. These programs cover gynecological examinations, lab tests, pap smears, birth control, STD testing and treatment, mammograms, HIV testing. The Women’s Wellness Program enhances the well-being of their guests and community through the provision of social work services and by creating opportunities for healing, community development, empowerment, creativity, and fun.  They serve nearly 200 women and their children every week day by providing a nutritious breakfast, free counseling, enrichment classes, and safety net services.

Services are provided during the Center’s drop-in hours between 7:30-11:30 am, Monday-Friday, or in the afternoon by appointment.
